How are greeting cards printed?
What are Touchnote cards and products like?
Each Touchnote card and product is designed and packaged to fit through a regular sized letterbox.
- Postcards: 15 x 10 cm (6 x 4") cards without envelopes. Printed on thick, 400gsm card and laminated on both sides, giving a high-gloss finish.
- Greeting cards: Printed on heavy 330gsm card, with a high-gloss finish. They are roughly 17.8 x 12.7cm (7 x 5"), and have a fold just like any traditional greeting card. Each one is posted in a bespoke, premium envelope.
- Canvases: Available in 3 sizes: 20x15cm, 22x30cm, 30x40cm. Each cotton canvas is wrapped around an 18mm softwood frame, with a gloss finish. They have proper, sturdy backs with hooks pre-attached, so they're ready to hang.
- Framed photos: Handmade in white or black painted Italian wood, designed to fit 15 x 11.5cm (6x4") photos.
- Gallery frames: Handmade in white or black painted Italian wood. You can create collections of single and multiple frames, in the following sizes: 15 x 20 cm, 28 x 35.5 cm, 30 x 30 cm, 30 x 40 cm, 50 x 50 cm and 50 x 71 cm (6 x 8", 11 x 14", 12 x 12", 12 x 16", 20 x 20" and 20 x 28").
- Print boxes: A box of 20-36 photo prints. Prints are single-sided and made from glossy, professional-quality photo paper. Each print is 15 x 11.5cm (6 x 4.5") and the box is a little bigger, about an inch deep.
What happens if I am not happy with my order?
Thoughtfulness is at the heart of everything we do. If you’re not happy with your order, let us know by going to your order history, tap on the order, tap ‘Need Help’, then ‘Order isn’t as expected’ to add a photo to send to our team.
If you don’t see this option, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of your order and our friendly team will make things right.
Delivery and Tracking
My order is still showing as processing?
The app showing the status of an order as 'Processing' or 'Ordered' is usually just a presentational issue and doesn't affect the actual posting of the card.Try signing out and signing in again to update the status and that should help. If after you've tried that it's still not showing as posted, please message us on email@example.com with the order number and we will be happy to check if there were any issues.
Can I choose a delivery date and time?
As we post using local postal services without tracking it is not possible to choose a specific delivery date and time, however you can schedule a postage date and estimated arrival date. On our app, you'll find the postage date option at the bottom, right before clicking next. On our web version, it on the tab next to your addresses.
Please note that the date you choose is the date when your order will be posted, not the delivery date so if you'd like to schedule something for a special occasion, keep our delivery times in mind. Also, if you select for your item to post on a weekend or holiday, it will be posted the next working day. You can see the estimated delivery time when you select the address before checkout.
How long will my order take to print and ship?
We print and post your items from the UK, USA, Netherlands and Australia, so delivery times can vary slightly. On workdays we dispatch our orders within an hour of you creating the order and you can follow the progress on your order history.
Do you offer express delivery?
All of our items are printed and posted within an hour of receiving your order and are sent using local delivery services. We do not offer express delivery as our items generally arrive in good time.
What do I do if my card hasn’t arrived in the expected delivery time?
Get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us the order number of your missing card, and we’ll look into it.
Where can I send cards?
You can send TouchNote postcards to any country with a functioning postal system!
Creating you order
I have duplicated an order, how do I cancel the duplicate?
We print and post our items within an hour of receiving them (we want them to arrive as soon as possible!), so if you are within 30 minutes of ordering you can cancel the duplicate order. Unfortunately outside of this time frame we can't cancel your order any longer.
To cancel the duplicate item within 30 minutes of ordering it, just click on the item on your order history.

The Website isn’t working properly?
We are sorry to hear you're having an issue using our Website. Have you tried clearing the cache and cookies from your web browser? That usually does the trick. If you're on Google Chrome, this link explains how to do that.
If you're on a different browser, try using Chrome as that's the browser we recommend for a smoother experience.
Can I order a card with no message inside?
Whilst creating your Postcard or Greetings card you can choose to leave the message blank, this can be done by either not typing a message or you will see a button that says 'Make these cards blank inside'. Please turn it off if you want your message to be printed instead of leaving the space blank.
Please note our postcards are printed with the address on the back, so they will not be completely blank.
Can I get a spare envelope with my card?
We send postcards the traditional way - with no envelopes and the recipient's address is printed on the back. At the moment it is not possible to send out postcards in envelopes.
To receive your greeting card with an extra blank envelope free of charge so you can mail or hand deliver them later, here's what you need to do:
Once you're done creating your greeting card, when you tap 'Add addresses' or 'Next' to add the address, the 'Address book' pops up. Tap the option to 'Send back to yourself' and select how many copies you would like of that card. You will get a fresh, blank envelope with each card at no extra cost.
You will also see a button that says 'Make these cards blank inside'. Please turn it off if you want your message to be printed instead of leaving the space blank. This will not affect the front of the card.
I’ve placed an order but I haven’t had a confirmation email
Confirmation emails are sent automatically up to 48 hours after you have ordered from Touchnote. If you have not received your confirmation within this time frame you check your order's progress in your order history and if it's not showing as posted, send us the order number on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will check it for you.
Can I edit/cancel an order I've just placed?
We print and post our items within an hour of receiving them (we want them to arrive as soon as possible!), so if you are within 30 minutes of ordering you can edit/cancel your order. Unfortunately outside of this time frame we can't change your order any longer.
To edit/cancel your item within 30 minutes of ordering it, just click on the item on your order history, which can be found in your Account on the App or Website.
